UrAmerica Properties in Colombia

 

UrAmerica claimed exploration permits covering 45,000 Ha (waiting for Government approval) of uranium properties in the Department of Santander, Colombia. This area is known for its uranium deposits, identified by past Colombian government studies.

 

The Santander province property is underlain by the Jurassic Giron Formation and has potential for hosting sandstone-type uranium mineralization. The uranium prospected areas are included in the Jurassic-Cretaceous sequence.
